Is Ordexa built specifically for cash on delivery?
Yes. The confirmation step, the attempt/RTO statuses, and the COD reconciliation flow all exist because COD is the default — not an afterthought. Prepaid orders are fully supported too and auto-confirm on payment.
Do I need a courier API to track shipments?
No. Ordexa is manual-first: attach a tracking number from any carrier and we build the tracking link, follow the status, and notify your customer by email. TCS, Leopards, DHL, FedEx, OCS, M&P, Trax, and BlueEx are seeded, and you can add custom carriers anytime.
Can I run Shopify and manual channels together?
That's the point. Shopify connects via OAuth or a custom-app token with two-way sync, and manual channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, phone, walk-in) are unlimited on every plan. Every order — wherever it came from — runs the same pipeline.
How does Ordexa calculate profit?
Cost price, tax rate, and a full product snapshot are captured on every order line at creation and never changed retroactively. Profit is revenue (ex-tax) minus COGS, shipping, returns/RTO, and allocated expenses — by order, channel, product, and team member.
What happens to data when I delete a product?
Nothing is lost. The order keeps its snapshot of the product title, SKU, price, and cost, and the line simply shows "(Deleted product)". Your historical P&L stays accurate forever.
Is there a free plan?
